Raya ini tahun

Dah 7 hari umat Islam di Malaysia sambut hari raya. Well, I'm still at home.. cuti secuti-cutinya.

How's my raya? Guess what. Amir kena chicken pox! Discovered malam raya tu. Tengah orang lain sibuk bertakbir, hubby sibuk usung Amir pi cari klinik. Sian laki aku. Hehehe.. Recently masa cerita pasal turn raya ni, dia ada cakap - I tak kesah kalau nak raya tiap2 tahun kat kampung you yang, asalkan malam raya I dapat kat PD.. perghh. True, malam raya kat PD mmg meriah. Org kampung pi bertakbir dari satu rumah ke satu rumah.. Best kan? Which is takde kat kg mak aku @ Jelebu + kg abah kat Sabak Bernam..

So, tu lah dia.. first raya amik gambar ramai-ramai, Amir protest takmo join. Muka tak encem :P Kecik-kecik dah reti beauty concious, lemas mak! As of last Wednesday, hubby bawak dia lari balik KL.. sbb dah nak kering.. just precaution, nak elakkan dia dari Azri..

Tapi tu la, dulu time aku + Arif kena, kitorang larikan Amir ke PD.. Sudahnya, tahun ni dia kena pulak. Kalau dah nak kena kan..

Anyway, semalam dapat bad news dari hubby.. Stok susu yg aku kumpul masa 10/10 hari tu, tak beku! Boleh? Dah la dapat banyak.. 5 X 4oz, banyak la kan.. aku pun confuse.. batch lain sume beku.. dan2 dia yg tak beku.. selamba rock je aku suh hubby rasa, dia kata manis lagi.. hehehe.. aku siap call sis Kamariah SI. Dia kata, after 72 hours tak beku, kena discard.. tp try la rasa dulu. Since rasa OK - which is told by hubby, so kitorang amik keputusan simpan kat minibar plak. Plus dapat info kat sini kata OK. Nanti time nak bagi, kitorang rasa la lagi sekali..

Dam di dam dam. Thats my post for Raya this year. Ada gambar nanti aku paste la.. tu kena tunggu BIL aku readykan. Hehehe..

Arif dah kena..

Malam tadi, hubby bawak Arif pi klinik. Siap ready duit nak jab chicken pox. Hehehe.. Tapi masa kat sana, doc takley nak confirm, sbb less than 5 dots.. Pergh, siap kira tu.. Then dia kata, dah lambat pun kalau nak jab.. sbb Arif dah ada contact dgn orang yg kena chicken pox.. Yours truly le tu.. Heeee..

Pagi tadi, Arif tetiba je laju merangkak kat kita.. I was like,

"Yang! Yang! Adik datang kat I ni.."
"Takpe yang.. dia dah kena dah.."

Masa tu kita tengah baring2, Arif laju je merangkak & naik atas badan.. lying on his stomach and rebahkan kepala dia kat dada.. Mulut dia pun bising.. as if he was trying to tell me,

"Bu, adik dah kena.. boleh laa peluk2 dgn ibu.."

Yeah, almost 2 weeks I didnt hold him.. Isk.. mesti dia pun tau camne ibu rindu nak pegang dia.. Lama jugak dia baring tadi.. kejap2 angkat muka tengok kita.. then rebahkan kepala lagi..

Around 9am, I called makcik.. Bagitau dia, adik dah kena.. Tak lama lepas tu, she came.. borak2 dekat 45minutes, masa dia nak balik, Arif nak ikut.. Heh, budak ni mmg.. asal ada orang nak berjalan, dia nak ikut.. Makcik kata dia kenal orang yg boleh ubatkan chicken pox.. Time cucu dia kena, 3 hari je boleh clear..

Well, harap2 gitu la.. Kesiankan budak2 kena chicken pox.. Dok garu2.. pagi tadi pun dah pakaikan Arif sarung tangan.. For you mommies out there, yang mana anak2 dah above 13mths, boleh laa pi klinik amik jab.. Last night hubby tanya, it costs about RM115..

OK-lah.. nak sambung melepak.. MC sampai 20/12.. tapi banyak lagi yg tak kering ni, macam ada gaya nak kena extend je.. Hmm..

Maximum Boredom

Maximum boredom. Thats the best words that I can use to describe my current situation. MC lagi sampai 20/12.. Kalau tak elok jugak by that time, extend lagi.. Oh well, despite of dah rasa macam malas nak masuk ofis, still, I wanna be fully recovered cepat2! Dah 2 minggu tak jumpa Amir, and I cant help to break down lagi. Hari2 dok browse handset ni.. Layan karat.. hehehe.. Kalau call pun, bukan dia nak cakap dgn kita.. Oh well..

Malam tadi Arif tido kat umah makcik. She's been insisting for some times, malam tadi we gave in.. Tapi tu la, selang bpa jam aku call. Yahahaha. Ikutkan gynae, sume anak2 dia suh hantar balik kg. Isk..

Oh yes, pi jumpa gynae last Wednesday. Baby in womb membesar.. la ni dah 2cm+. Last time 17.6mm or something. Still early to detect anything. Kalau chicken pox ni dah OK by 20th, then my next appointment will be on January 10th. Heee.. Kejap je nak masuk tahun 2007 kan..

Next year, yours truly gonna be 29.. insya-ALLAH, panjang umur, murah rezeki, will be blessed with 3 kids.. Ihiks.. advance sungguh aku ni.. my mom got married at the age of 25 jugak.. tp by 29, baru ada anak 2.. Hehehe..

OK-laa.. nak layan TV.. Magical World of Disney.. Sadis tak?

Chicken Pox

Yeah, yours truly tengah melepak kat umah.. since last Wednesday (6/12).. wasnt feeling well since 3/12 actually.. On the 5th, mmg dah tak larat, sampai rasa nak tido kat ofis. I had two pimples (which i thought they were), and lots of them on my head.. Baca-baca kat internet, konon2 macam hormonal change.. something yg preggy women with a baby girl selalu kena.. cewah..

Habis je time keje, amik Arif.. lepak2... sendi2 dah rasa sakit dah. Lepas Maghrib, hubby bawak pi klinik.. 1st, confirmkan pregnancy.. and yes, I saw another two red lines at doc office.. Hehe.. Ngadu jugak laa pasal those "pimples", doc kata, biasa laa tu.. he even teased me -- "Ntah2, perempuan tak.." Amboi.. Sempat gak mintak MC.. sbb mmg serius tak larat..

Next morning -- tadaaaaaaa.. on my wrist!!! ada bintik air!! Terus kejut hubby..

"Yang, yang.. ni chicken pox ke?"
"Let me see your chest.."
...................
"Ha-ah yang.. chicken pox.."
WHAT? in overnight i got all these? that? those?

Freak out gile mak.. tambah2 in my condition ni kan.. Yes, I never had chicken pox before.. and I'm the last in my siblings yg kena.. Angah had hers in early quater of 2006.. That evening pi clinic lagi, menggeleng GP..

"Whats the consequences doc?"
He took a long, deep breath.. and paused..
"I thought you've read.."
"No, I wanna hear it from you.. I wanna be prepared.."
And so.. the first trimester, crucial.. fetal development.. risky.. yada yada yada yada.. Those words just floating.. mata dah bergenang..

"I will refer you to your gynae.. he will monitor you from now.."

Dapat je referral letter, terus pi Connaught.. Met my gynae.. masa tengah tunggu turn tu, sempat lagi baca articles from hubby's handset.. sob sob sob.. I'm not strong OK.. mak ni pulak mmg ratu air mata..

"Hi Yan! How are you?"

I gave him a peace sign and said -- "Well, as you can see.. I'm NOT fine.." and laugh nervously..

"I want you not to be worry OK.. Yes, the risk is there, but its not high.. its hard for me to convince you though.. "

"Every year I have 1-2 patients whom pregnant with chicken pox.."

Nampak gaya tahun ni, aku le salah sorang tu kan..

We did a little scanning.. nampak laa 17.6mm baby (fetus?) sorry, tang ni biology mak fail, ok.. so i got calamine lotion and itchiness pills..

"I'll give you one week MC.. no one can argue if you got MC this long.."
"Next appointment will be on 13/12.."

Here I am.. at home.. layan MC and chicken pox.. At a very low pace of recovery.. ye la, being old and preggy.. oh well.. Anyway, smalam dgn tak sabarnya, dah tarik satu kat muka ni.. geram!!

"Long, kau tarik long? Bekas laa nanti.. dah laa kat muka.."
Ahh.. nasib laa tu..

Moral : Kalau tak pernah kena chicken pox lagi, go get your jab.. 2 shots, selang 6 minggu.. and mind you -- if you are married, you CANT get pregnant at least 4 months after the jab. Its cruel, especially to adults like us.
